Advice around Göcek, Turkey

We are crusing one week on a rental Catamaran from Göcek this summer.
Do you have any advice Regarding must see, good places etc?

If hyou will be there any time in July/August period, Göçek will be pretty crowded and very hot.. There are plenty of bays couple of miles one from the other one, all are beatiful and safe. If you don't want to spend yr entire week in Göçek and Fethiye, you may either go to the east; Kalkan,Kaş, Kekova or to the west, Ekincik, Marmaris, Çiftlik. East will be even hotter and you will have to motor 90 % of the times, meltemi dies to the east of Ekincik. The route to the west will be a bit fresher and you may find a bit of more wind.

A week is not a lot of time. What is it you want to do? A lot of sailing or visiting an incredible culture and learning? If lucky you can get both. You can go directly to Kekova Roads and see a sunken city an old castle - get a cab over to visit the real St. Nicholas and then work your way back with stops along the way - We sailed the entire coast last summer and it was great.
But at times we did not have a lot of wind
