Tampa, Fl with a trailer sailor

We'll be vacationing in Tampa in December and might bring a boat with us if the weather will be decent enough. This will be my first time in Tampa since I was a kid and first time sailing on the on the gulf coast.

What are some good spots to sail to? If you recommend a destination, please also recommend a ramp from which would I start, if you know one?
