From the Pacific N.W. to Philippines

Has one one made this trip or know of anyone that has? Which is the best route to take and the best time of the year?
I've heard of some going to Hawaii and then to Japan and down the cost. Others from Hawaii to the Marshall Islands then S.W. And others down the west coast to Chile and then over to Microneasa.

Your input would be appreicated.
