The City of Marathon on Nov. 13, 2007 pasted (5 to 0) Resolution 2007-164.
This Resolution is the new rates for the City of Marathon Marina and
Mooring field.
Under Section 3 of this Resolution, it states;
“ …The City Council additionally directs staff to continue not
charging for
dinghy docks to disabled customers, as determined by the
Ports Manager, pursuant to appropriate evidence thereof, until such time as the City Marina has achieved Americans with Disability Act compliance.”
So if you are handicapped/disabled and have the paper
work, take it with you when you pay for your
mooring fee.
The
dinghy dockage fee will be subtracted from your mooring fee. And as I read the Resolution, those at
anchor who are handicapped/disabled and can prove it, will not have to pay a dinghy
dock fee and they will still be allowed all services.
Should you have any questions, please contact Richard Tanner at the City Marina.
