Coming from a
boat owner on the Pacific coast of
Costa Rica for the last 8 years...
I realize this is an old post but we get emails with this request from time to time and it just does NOT happen here. No
boat owner in their right mind would rent out their boat as a
bareboat charter because of the location of Costa Rica. We are a bridge between south and north america and so until drugs are legalized, we would never hand over our boat to random travelers without our own
captain and crew on board! Sad, really. The legalization of drugs would solve so many of the world's problems, but it won't happen cause the corrupt authorities in every country make too much
money keeping them illegal.
