Stromboli Volcano Lucky Escape

Not a great time to have engine troubles... That's a pyroclastic flow, a small one. If it was a big one, they could not have escaped, they would have been cooked.

Very lucky! You dont even have to get hit by volcanic discharge to have a problem near an erupting volcano:

We were off the coast and in the village a week before it blew... Sobering. Great vid, haven't seen that one yet...
