Sailboat in trouble close to Cape Verde needs some Diesel to make it back.

Hi, I just git this info via another channel. Maybe someone can help?

I got informed about a sailing boat in trouble, original heading from the Cap Verdes towards the Caribbeans. They have a big rigging problem, not able to use the sails. It now turned around to Mindelo, Cape Verdes, motoring. They will not have enough diesel .
Is there anyone out there who would be able to give them some diesel? Here the coordinates:
Boat name: NoLimit
Skipper: Antonio

contact details redacted at OP's request. Antonio reached port safely 21 Nov 24.

15°6.231N 30°14.043W Course approx. 65° directly to Mindelo. Speed: approx. 3kn
As soon as it gets light and the mast is secured, he heads towards Mindelo.
He is missing approx. 40 - 60 liters of diesel
Thank you for your support ☺️⛵️⛵️

Someone in the larger vicinity who could render assistance? Let's show true seamanship and help a fellow sailor if you can.

Just received this:

"... I heard from NoLimit today via Noforeignland. The captain is doing okay singlehanded and has arranged for repairs. He is still low on fuel and praying for wind... "

So, the 'big rigging problem' is [somewhat] solved, and he'd be able to sail, with appropriate wind?

Sounds more like limping towards a destination if there is wind from the right direction.

I think(!) he likely prefers to get to port swiftly by motor.
The Atlantic is not a great place to be a sitting duck with a compromised boat.

On AIS it looks like they are very close to the main port of Cape Verde Mindelo, not needing further offshore assistance.

Unfortunately I have no further details.

Thanks to anyone who might have provided assistance.
