Last weekend there was an
oil spill in Chaguaramas, Trinidad. A possible lead has been identified as to the culprit but nothing definitive. Here is a link to a video of our
boat following the spill. Our
boat has now been hauled out. We estimate it will take about 50 hours to remove the
oil from our boat.
The
oil spill was sickening, as we watched
fish swim under a thick oily surface. I had no idea that this
oil spill is not an isolated incident.
Please consider signing a petition circulating to bring greater attention to the problem of oil spills on Trinidad.

The video of my boat is at - and, I totally know it is not Oscar quality, but it shows how thick the
water was with oil.
