Re: Lost tri in the Antille

Any update on this one? Has she been found? Looks close to shore enough to launch a SAR chopper?

The PLB was activated at 13 d. 18.9N; 71 d. 50.1 W.

It's a long time to be in the water. :-(

Re: Lost tri in the Antille

We still hope, days are passing and still no news about the sailor and the boat,
this is the last message from the FB page Acocella Missing:

Quote:
English - Espanol - Italiano - Français
‼️Update:
The coasts of the three states (Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua) are still to be considered plausible areas for the search.
After considering the prevalent winds, we can hypothesize that Panama and Costa Rica are the main areas of interest.
These coasts are mainly uninhabited areas, where there are wide woods, which make the search more difficult.
We ask for everyone’s help (churches, radio broadcasts, word of mouth, etc.) to help us spread the information about Rocco Acocella’s disappearance, in the little fishing villages and in the little communities, which are harder to reach trough internet or telephonically.
We also ask for maximum diffusion at sea so to help us get in contact with whoever might have seen wreckage of the Trinavis.
