I am not sure. He was having some issues with the charging cord but said he had been given a new one with the food drop. Said the new one was working fine. The Iridium Go was my only means to communicate with him. I am hoping that is all it is and that he will just start pinging again when he gets closer to sure. His plan was to try to get to Acapulco. He has a bunch of needed repairs.

He was able to get some food dropped and was eventually assisted by the Mexican Navy to help get him and Smiles back to port for some much needed repairs and restock.
