For Sale: Willard 40, long range trawler

After 14 years of ownership, cruising in Mexico and Alaska we reluctantly have decided that we should part with Lilliana. Lilliana is a sailor's motor boat. She is a full keel, blasted, full displacement hull; she has a range of over 2400 miles. Over the past 14 years dozens of sailors have been aboard and exclaimed, " This is our next boat!" Well now is the time. There were only about 15 of these beauties made and few are in the condition or equipped as well as Lilliana. She is paravane stabilized.

Lilliana's price is $165,000 She is totally "turn key" and in wonderful condition.

Presently berthed in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, five hours drive from Tucson. She will be listed with a broker shortly. We would be happy to make a private sale before that point.

A perfect boat for a "recovering sailor" considering converting to trawler. I did the Baja Ha Ha in 2003 aboard a sistership going over 1000 nms from Long Beach to La Paz burning around 200 gals diesel and averaged over 7 kts. Very comfortable boat.

For this interested, the Willard Owners Group has over 500 members and has been around for over 20 years. There is an extensive archives on these boats
