Wharram Tangaroa Mk IV

The Tangaroa Mk IV is a performance cruiser. She is an evolution of the earlier Tangaroa Mk I, having more freeboard, wider hulls and more graceful lines than the earlier model. This vessel has crossed the Indian Ocean and cruised Madagascar. The last 12 years she has been sailing along the East coast of Africa. Currently lying afloat in Kilifi, Kenya. Owner is relocating.
Constructed by a professional shop fitter and yachtsman in South Africs from Okoume Marine Ply - glued, screwed and epoxied saturated, Red Maranti beams, Paint finish, Wharram V keels. Hull maintenance, painting and new anti-fouling April 2019. Aluminum mast/spars (SELDÉN) and stainless-steel rigging replaced in 2013 with new set of sails. Boat is lying in Kilifi, Kenya, just returned from a trip to Pemba island and is ready to go cruising. GBP22,000. UK registered.
