Want To Buy: SoCal coastal cruiser, cabins for 5, ~$100k

Hi all,

Family of 5 (3 girls ages 6-11) here. We just sold our '87 Beneteau First 405 & are in the market for our next boat. Have cash & looking to buy soon if the right boat comes up - it's tough to travel now so local is obviously best but willing to wait a bit if need be.

We're looking for something that can daysail in San Diego, and hold my family for a month or two for SoCal and MX coastal cruising over the summer. Maybe longer but don't really need a bluewater vessel.

Ideally she'd be comfy, safe, perform well under sail and power, and have berths for 5 in cabins (probably 3 sleeping cabins). Swim steps & open cockpits are nice. Catamaran would be great but not likely at this price point. I've been mostly looking at French boats in the 43-50' range. Let me know what you've got!
