This Tayana just arrived in Jacksonville FL after a great sail from Mobile around through key west.
Hurricane Dorian put a 7 day delay in the middle of the trip but all went well otherwise.
She is now on the hard and a complete bottom job will be starting next week.

Pics are available on the link on the previous post and I will post as more are added to the link as she becomes an even better deal on an awesome blue water boat.

This Tayana has just recieved a MAJOR bottom job.

Entire hull below water taken down to bare glass. Then a tie/ seal coat of system three clear coat epoxy resin.
Five coats of interlux 2000E has been applied over that and finally two coats of Pettit Trinidad hard bottom paint.

I have more pics to be posted soon on the pic link showing the result of the major bottom job she has just recieved.
All this lovely boat needs now is an instrament upgrade. Thats it!!

She has been given even more attention, to the point I can literally find no other jobs to be done aboard.

From replacing the steering cables ( a small amount of corrosion was spotted on the old ones) to servicing the faucet spindles. I can find no other jobs to be done.

This 1985 Tayana is so neat she has two dead wires that I know of. Both labelled.

Yes, she is still available.

She is a great blue water boat. She was sailed from Alabama to Jacksonville FL about 4 months back and did not miss a beat. Like new engine just purrs!

All the tanks were filled to brimming before she left Alabama, all tanks are great. I refilled all the tanks and as she sits on the hard the tanks are filled full....the bilge clean. The bilge has always been clean and well taken care of.

Well worth the look!

I seriously can not believe no one has bought this boat, I live on the West Coast and this boat is an absolute steal on either coast. I just can't have two boats, one on either coast. Beautiful boat, well executed, great price!

We're talking... ;-) My wife and I are having a serious discussion tonight and will most likely go take a look. We weren't planning on buying until near the end of the year, so we have some timing issues, but if the boat surveys out as described, I'll do my best to close this thread.

This gorgeous vessel comes with 6 rolls of toilet paper.....cures coronavirus!!!

Disclaimer: I dont know that it cures coronavirus....but seems that way.

On a serious note, I am planning on replacing the lexan on the deck hatches next week, will post a pic when done.
