"Boat is on my home on its
trailer, have to remove it from slip as the homeowners association allows one
boat slip for homeowner.
I recently purchased a
Cape Dory 30 and needed the slip to finish outfitting.
The Nimble has a 50 HP
outboard Honda purchased new by prior owner on 08/26/2008 as per invoice.
I purchased the
boat in 2009.
Launched in 2010
Hours on tachometer need to double check.
Boat was on my driveway most of 2009 as I replaced all inside
panels,re sealed windows, removed RV type of air condition on
deck and replace opening with a new
hatch
Since then installed
GPS, DepthFinder,VHF
radio mounted Teleflex
Hydraulic steering,Autopilot
RayMarine EVO 100 ,Mast on tabernacle,Main and
Jib from
Sailrite in 2013,both on
CDI roller furling.
It comes with several
outboard gas
tanks and there is a gas/water separator filter.
As mentioned all the sailing
gear is installed in such a way can be removed and returns to be the original
trawler version as was careful not to drill any thru
deck fittings.
There is only a
thru hull below
water line as I replaced portapotti with a
marine self contained
toilet Sealand West
Marine #711-M28 Marine Sanitation System, with a 3 ways valve for discharge
overboard,pumpout facility.
Uses a selfcontained tank and fresh water
flushing so no odors.
Replaced
steering wheel original with a Vetus mahogany?.
Modified access to
electric panel to accommodate more breakers.
If I remember more stuff will list.
This is not a
project boat in as much as I used it until February when
family situation
events.
To pull it out of the slip just turned the key, motored to
ramp and is ready to be used any time.
There are couple of water
leaks from two hatches on deck need attention but is so minimal I just continued
boating.
If not
sold within couple of weeks, will have it bubble wrapped to protect it from the elements,my full attention is now outfitting my new to me
Cape Dory and leave by end of August the latest.
On return this
winter will see,I am 77 and not sure about how long I can, might be able to push it,if worse comes to be,may have to go to plan B,
sale the Cape Dory, move the Nimble close to my daughter and continue fiddling with and just enjoy what I can.
I will be happy to answer any question
