Re: Morgan 33' Out Island

I very much enjoyed cruising our 1973 Morgan OI 33 for 13 years. The only reason we had to leave it for our 41 was because our children kept growing. Someone will be pleased with this!

Yes, they're great. Friends of ours have the 38. They had a ping pong table in it, if you can imagine. Don't honestly know how much ping pong they played, but holey moley - the room!

Re: Morgan 33' Out Island

I just purchased my first grown up yacht and it's a 33OI. She needs a little love, but don't we all? I'm sure I'll have tons of questions about the specifics and technical things of this gem. It's cool to see someone lived aboard one for 13 years. That breeds hope.

Indeed. They're a great liveaboard boat.

Re: Morgan 33' Out Island

Have to say, I highly recommend the type of sink we installed on ours. The entire countertop is the sink. Made of corian, with 4" fiddles and a drain on the side. It's been great. Only thing I might do differently is put a second drain on the other side, so you're covered either tack. Beats the snot out of those dinky sinks that barely fit a plate...

..... 13 years on our 33' OI, but 44 years living aboard and cruising Morgan Out Islands. We had many refits and updates, but loved these boats!
