I feel for you. I had to do something very similar a couple of years ago.

You're probably going to have to assign some kind of suggested price, even if you're flexible, to give a potential buyer some kind of idea.

What happened to the engine? Is there any chance of rebuilding it?

Re: Mainship Mark III 34' 1986

The Perkins problem is that the raw water pump had a dribbly leak that apparently settled under the oil filter & rotted a hole in the bottom. Can't tell if the dribbles caused any corrosion to the lip of the oil pan.

Oil pumps out the filter into the bilge but not the engine.
My mechanic recommended not repairing the engine because:

1. Don't know if any damage was done to the engine --low oil alert.
2. The studs in the engine that hold the water pump bracket are badly corroded and could perhaps break while trying to remove, requiring to bore them out of the block & re-tapping.

Hello, how close is the nearest travel lift so it can be loaded on a trailer?

That repair does not sound too costly if only problems as you stated.

I was struck by the small tank sizes. Only 195gal on a powerboat this size? And the water tank only 40gal. Are you sure?

Nice interior - that should attract buyers.

Hi siestakey, would you consider $12k? You said it’s negotiable. Have cash and can come look in a couple days.
