Looking to buy a weekedner ≤18'

I've been sailing for two seasons now, mostly on my buddy's S2 7.9, I am ready to get my own boat and I would like something in the way of a Gloucester, Neptune or Capri 16, something 18 ft or less, sloop rigged that I can spend the night on once in a while. I am in Iowa and willing to drive anywhere east of the Rockies.

Edit: as for budget I'd like to stay under $2500, I am not adverse to a fixer upper, and I am pretty handy but no basket cases please

Let me know what you have!
