Want To Buy: LOOKING FOR OUR NEW SAILBOAT

Having seen many sailboats over the past year, I can now say I have narrowed down our preferences to the following:

27’ - 36’
Shoal draft (4’6” or less)
Outboard preferred (or inboard with kicker plate)
tiller steering preferred over helm steering

We are looking to spend $6,000 - $15,000, but can be flexible for the right vessel.

We prefer to purchase a vessel already here in Florida.

Outboard power on a vessel 27' and up (unless catamaran) is less than ideal. the prop tends to come out of the water as the boat pitches. I would suggest staying at the bottom end of your size parameters and get the boat in the best condition.
