Re: Looking for 40-50' Bluewater Monohull Sailboat <$200k
Hi Shawn,
No leaks as the deck and stations were redone in 2013. Wooden masts and booms stepped down in 2013 and repaired as necessary. Aluiminium or carbon masts about 45k cdn. Wouldn't consider for another 5-7 years.
Redemption was in dry dock for 3 years. Everything re-done and some things simplified to allow for single handing. 2014 survey available and 2017 out of water available for nominal amount.
If this is still of interest let me know by pm and I will send you the links etc.
Thanks
Kevin

Re: Looking for 40-50' Bluewater Monohull Sailboat <$200k
Thread Update - I've had to lower my budget to $125k to increase my sailing kitty. Still seriously looking and ready to buy.
Thanks,
Shawn

Shawn:
Here is a one-off aluminum Gary Mull design. It is a nice-sailing boat, I knew her years ago. http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...gn-181899.html

Re: Looking for 40-50' Bluewater Monohull Sailboat <$200k
You want a blue water Monohull passagemaker? Well, I’ve got one ! A 50 foot flag blue Hinckley yawl ! She’s loaded with gear and electronics. And she’s a looker! I have owned her for over 30 years. She has always been kept in heated storage in the off-season in Maine. Spent 2 years in the Med - not a single day went by without someone taking a look at her - the shameless hussy! Anyway she’s “back home” in Maine.
Why am I selling? Well, my wife thinks that a 78 year old should not be single-handing a 50 foot split-rig - and I am tired of the nagging! Oh sure, I can wait until I can gather “a crew” (most of them get in the way) but when the wind’s blowing and the sun is shining, I’d rather drop the moorings and get underway. And I can raise, lower and reef from the safety of the cockpit. And great sailing days up here in downeast Maine are few. And she’s powered by a trouble-free 120hp Ford-Lehman (also has a Westerbeke diesel generator - don’t use that very much).

Shadow, not sure which boat you're requesting but I have posted my Gulfstar 45 Hirsh here. It is still for sale and listed on YW. Please let me know if you might have any questions.
Thanks,

Re: Looking for 40-50' Bluewater Monohull Sailboat <$200k
I have a Kelley-Peterson in great condition. New sails, new engine, new tanks, teak deck removed and no deck rot what-so-ever.
Not actively for sale but we are mid-70s and ready for something else.
If anyone wants a great, comfortable, fast, 45' blue-water boat; it is available to see.

es, Joint Effort is still on the market. do to my age: and the covid 19 issue, it looks like my sailing days are coming to an end. That does not mean I have quit doing upgrades and maintenance, I love this boat and I want to maintain it the best I can. I have dropped the price $120,000 which I thought I would not do. You can check out more pictures on the Corbin 39 website. I will do a more current listing describing the attributes of Joint Effort in the near future. This is a one of a kind boat designed to sail any ocean and do it with safety and comfort. not to mention she look's the part as well.
