Hi All,
Yes, good guessing
my
Lagoon 380 is indeed the "Blue Tattoo".
She has recently been hauled out, serviced and maintained.
Now she is ready for the sailing season, and adventures to come!
Delivery can be arranged at reasonable cost.
Yes, I purchased her after making a binding offer one year ago, and before even seeing her.
We had been wanting a L380 for a few years, and during those years we visited many L380´s
for sale around
Europe. When we read about "Blue Tattoo", we knew it was a matter of being quick, before she was
sold (the few very well maintained L380´s we saw, were all
sold very quickly, and we never got to sign).
Now, the vendor wanted to use "Blue Tattoo" himself, for the complete 2018 season, and so we agreed a 10 months waiting time, before the actual hand-over.
Since making the offer almost one year ago, our situation has changed (family related), and unfortunately "Blue Tattoo" no longer meets our requirements.
We learned this during the Summer, but as I already had an agreement, and due to having paid a non-refundable deposit, we decided to move ahead anyway, and take over the boat as planned on 1st October.
No regrets, she really is an amazing boat, one of the best we ever saw on the 2nd hand market for sure. And we had a great sail from
Greece to
Spain. Happy to have done this, what a great experience it was!
The
current asking price of 225.000 EUR reflects two main aspects;
1. The boat is now prepared for the season, and is ready to go, fully serviced and maintained. When we bought her she was "at the end of service", but now she is at the start.
2. The Market Value has gone up, since we closed on "Blue Tattoo" one year ago.
And even one year ago, if we were offered to take over "Blue Tattoo" at the start of the season, I would happily have paid a lot more! This would have been reasonable, because she is a very well maintained and well equipped, EU VAT paid,
Lagoon 380 Premium Owners version. Not easy to come by, I know this as a fact.
If interested, please feel free to send a private message, thank you all.
Kind regards,
Niels
