This is a 1974 53'
Gulfstar Motor sailor
ketch for sail was in perfect condition before
Hurricane Dorian and was used for BSA and
charter in
Bahamas for 12 yrs. she was updated and maintained by the owner as a
liveaboard boat can sleep 13 total in berths 3 cabins 2
head showers
engine room etc She is well equipped with all that is required for cruising private or
charter. However she is now a
project boat as she was damaged during
Hurricane Dorian.
Damage done to vessel.
The main
mast was broken by spreaders is a clean break and can be repaired by CJs welding with a sleeve in Marsh harbour by the boat yard.
Rigging is re- useable and has stay lock ajustiable fittings . mizzen
mast is still ok. New
sails this yr
crack in aft
deck easy
repair bulkhead inside need re-glassing.
starboard stanchions need replacing if your a welder enough onboard to
repair and new
safety wire onboard plus fittings.
Aft dive platform needs rebuilt

she does not heal over much even in 40kts of
wind.

Bahamas. Has duty paid in Bahamas and can be registered anywhere. British Registered Now.
