For Sale - 1979 30’ O’Day Sailboat - $12,500

She had a bottom job before we purchased her earlier this year and it could possibly last another year or two.

Rigging has just been professionally inspected with the purchase and installation of the new Harken roller furler (May).

We added some extra cleats and chocks in the front near the Lewmar 12v electric winch. The switch is at helm and works flawlessly. *

Noticed a dribble of water while down there during a rainstorm this summer. *It rained every day there this year at Titusville. *One window needs a little caulking on the outside cover which has covers and can not be seen when put back on.

She handles well. New oil change pump and Yanmar 2QM15F motor is quiet and runs like a clock. All lights work properly and we have a TON of extra stuff.

There is a new stand up Air Conditioner from Lowe’s that drains directly down the bilge. There is an extra bilge pump (still in the package) that is 12v.

Extra stuff includes lines, lights, tools, brand new anchors and bumpers. The boat has all of the original owner’s manuals, as well.

There is a brand new Main Sail canvas cover and brand new Bimini still in the box and a huge canvas tarp which we were going to install on the bow as a sunshade, but haven’t had the time to do so. They just need to be installed and come with all the proper hardware.

We have no time to enjoy the water right now because of work, etc. but hope to in the future and it is a shame not to use her. We have been to the marina 5 times in 5 months for enjoyment of both the boat and pool (besides the emergency roller furler replacement).

Sails are in great shape and there is an extra genoa and an additional hank-on jib. *

She is a beautiful sailboat and just needs to be enjoyed. She is very roomy and would make a great liveaboard.

We can show her upon request on weekends in Titusville, Florida and if you like her, make us an offer that is reasonable and she is yours. She has a clear Florida title.

Please email me for additional photos.
