Endeavor 35

Thoughts anyone?? I have realized I absolutely LOVE the classic look of these boats, same goes for the CYS 33. Looking for a cruiser/live aboard and these are in my price range. The larger salon with LOTS of light and classic details appeals to me. Any advice appriciated, the good, the bad, the ugly, I can take it.

There is a 40 for sale at a substantially low price, check out the for sale section.

Hi Jenn...Do you mean Endeavor or Endurance? The Edurance 35 is very traditional looking with it's clipper bow.

Re: Endeavor 35

Here are two photos: first one Endeavour 35, second one Endurance 35. These boats are very unlike each other. The latter has a clipper bow and a long keel, and is very traditional.
These photos borrowed from the web.
BTW there might be a very good Endurance 35 coming up for sale in West Australia (no, I have no interest in that boat or owner). And yes, I realise that the original poster is in the US of A. But as it often happens, other interested readers are all over the world.

I do mean Endurance 35 and realized after I posted then couldn't figure out how to edit the post. I suppose I should just repost.

I am still looking!

A few years back while cruising Mexico, I met an older couple cruising on their Endurance 35. A year later when I hauled out for hurricane season, I was staged beside them. They sold it there and began RVing Baja. I believe it went for around $45k. I saw another one in Chula Vista that had been seized by the Feds. Super outfitted. I'm sure it eventuall went to auction. Get your ducks in a row by either saving the entire amount to buy a boat you like or get per-qualified for the purchase.

I will be fortunate enough to pay cash. Although traveling to far reaches will be a bit more challenging

Well at least in the US...you can call it a vacation... You might also put a Cabo Rico 38 on your short list. Just a word of advice...stay away from teak decks.
