Then you go and post this?
I mean really....chocolate croissants and too much paradise? Really?
LOL

So, instead of complimenting you, how about I just compliment your choice of boat?
Yeah, that seems fair...

(and, what-do-you-know, I sail the same model boat you do....hmmm, I guess great minds do think alike!)

Seriously, Dale, I'm happy for you and continue to live vicariously along your passages...
Take care, have fun, and eat a friggin' croissant for me!

John
Thanks John, as I've said earlier in the thread, Sukhas for sale more as exploring my options than anything else, letting fate determine my future plans, not concerned in the least if she dosen't sell.

Btw, I got to try the assymetrical next to the code zero a number of times in exactly the same conditions thus was really able to compare the two. I'll write privately and let you know my thoughts.

Btw I'm glad I got out of Panama, it's back in lockdown again, and messages I'm receiving from Chiapas are the hospitals are filling.

I dunno, Dale. They're a bit picky about furriners down here!
...
But if they let you in, we will need to share a jug or two... if they let us be near other folks by then.

Damn... pain chocolate, and likely pamplemousse on the side. I yearn for the tropics and some French islands!

Hey Jim, now in Fakarava, I'll have a crossiant for you today, just the sort of guy I am[emoji16]

So, no ones checked in here, yet we can cruise anywhere in Fp, no restrictions....strange world we are currently in.

Earlyretirement,
FYI, I believe it was late last year (Oct/Nov 2020) that Dale sold his C470 "Sukha"...

The new owners named her "Vellamo", and are located in North Haven, South Australia.

Even though they are USA-manufactured (in St. Petersburg, Florida), and are certainly at the high-end of the "production boats".....and as such are quite pricey in the EU, and in AUS/NZ, etc......they are wicked strong boats, that dis-prove the old myths about the strengths / capabilities of so-called "production boats"....and with ~180 hulls made, over ~ 20 years, there are many Catalina 470's out there sailing / cruising worldwide...

So have a look at the brokerage market!

There are typically a couple on the market at any one time.

And, most importantly.....there is an extremely useful and well-learned C470 Owner's Group (now a Google Group), that has been around for a bit more than 20 years.....with dozens and dozens of highly-skilled and experienced sailors / cruisers / voyagers, etc., as well as many learned folks of widely-varied walks of life...
So, have a look at the C470 owner's group, as well....(fyi, this is such a valuable resource, it easily ads many 10's of thousands of dollars of value to the C470's worldwide, and costs you nothing in return....

Fair winds...

John
