My helper Dane is coming next month. He just graduated from UWF &
is in ROTC training for US Army as a helicopter pilot. He has been helping this old man for about 10 years.


We will be doing our monthly engine test, reviewing AC & DC electrical, polishing fuel, changing oil & filters, testing the Genset, fridge, freezer, air conditioning, electronics, etc.



I will post as we proceed. Some sob stole my Hookah rig, so I am looking for a diver to clean & inspect underwater..

I am awaiting reply from two insurance companies to verify I can be covered, I have run into a few that won't insure, due to various reasons. That being said, once that is confirmed, I like to move forward.

I currently have BOAT US/Geico coverage through 12/31/2021. I have written them asking about transfer ability. I have been with BOAT US about 50 years, had a USCG 100 ton license & USCG Auxiliary member. I have had only one minor claim summer of 2001 nearby lightening strike with minor damage while cruising the Chesapeake.

We have completed many routine maintenance operations. I ran the engine yesterday 1/4/2022. It started instantly & all is good.

I had all 3 fuel tanks emptied in large barrels, going through a Fram Water separator & 10 micron filter. Then I allowed them to set for a week so I could observe water content. I observed water level, pumped down to above the water content, added appropriate Cetane booster & pumped back into my tanks, that had been cleaned.


I scrapped 70 gallons that could be used in a hunting camp diesel heater or ______? FREE come and get it


I am having a friend examine & test all hoses and through hull valves. I will replace any that are of concern.
