Blue Water Cruiser

We are searching for a blue water cruiser to begin our circumnavigation journey. We have narrowed our list down to our top three, which are a Kaufman 47, Passport 47, and Formosa 46. We would also consider a very nicely maintained Norseman 447, Peterson 44, or Stevens/Hylas 47.

We monitor the For Sale Forums such as Yachtworld and Yatco etc. and are aware of the boats listed.

For the right boat at the right price we are ready to proceed with cash purchase.

If you have one of the above blue water cruisers please reach out to us here on the forum.

Re: Blue Water Cruiser

Hi, I have Kelly Peterson 44, hull #271, built in 1980. We have owned her since 1984, circumnavigated twice and still enjoy her but as we are getting older and it might be time to sell her. We have kept her up to date with rigging, sails and most of the things that needed to be repaired, i.e. aluminum fuel tanks, new ss water tanks, all chainplates replaced etc. We last crossed the Atlantic in 2017 completing our last circumnavigation but we cruise the east coast every summer. If you are interested in a true blue water boat let me know.
Thanks
Jack

Re: Blue Water Cruiser

Hiya.
I have a 1997 50' steel schooner that I purchased to restore.
But I have too many projects to complete her.
She is sitting on the hard in Ft Pierce Florida.
I would be happy to get $35K, but would take less.
