We are too, with identical parameters! Will be sure to keep an eye on this thread. Do you live in Florida? Maybe we could connect as we both move into the cruising lifestyle. My wife and I have one daughter at college, and one who is 10 and will be joining us, of course. Good luck with everything.

For sure! We're in Fort Lauderdale and looking to buy in the spring/summer and go whenever we feel ready. Would love to connect if you're ever down from Chicago looking at boat!

Consider a risk (and it could well be that) and at least take a look at the current thread under the topic heading, Hurricane Damaged Boats Available. I think it is in, Construction, Maintenance, & Refit. At least worth a look, including the various reply posts.

Re: beneteau or jeanneau 42-49 foot
To those looking for a Beneteau or Jeanneau 42 - 49 ft, private message me. The Admiral is ready to go to a power boat. My Jeanneau 45.2 was fresh water until November 2016 and will be in Florida in late November before we cross to the Bahamas.

Hi Tzimmer
I will sell my Jeanneau Sun Kiss 47 when I reach Martinique in early Feb 2018.
A bit far from Florida but not this far after all.

Re: beneteau or jeanneau 42-49 foot
I have a Beneteau First 435 in the San Francisco Bay area. Willing to sell shares, or to sell her outright.
Excellent, beautiful blue water boat. I have sailed her between Canada, USA (Hawaii, California-Washington), and Mexico. JEDI was a test boat for Practical Sailor Magazine, when I was a contributing editor; she has many nice touches. Super responsive, fun to sail, reliable, strong boat, well maintained.

Re: beneteau or jeanneau 42-49 foot
I know of a well equipped B473 which has been on the hard for 6 years. It might be a great deal or a lot of work. I am sure it will go at a reasonable price. Takes a special guy however you may well be that person. Let me know if you have any questions. Pm please

Re: beneteau or jeanneau 42-49 foot
After years of Yacht delivery and teaching sailing, I bought my boat. The problems I saw with fiberglass production boats had given me too much information as to how much water gets in the boat. This video shows what you can find down the road.
This is why I bought this you might want to consider it. http://www.muchogustosailing.wordpress.com
