Alberg 37 NYC

Asking price - $37,000 USD
Location - NYC, New York
Contact - Caitlyn (202)7630203

A popular boat in it’s prime and a classic sailboat today, this Alberg 37’ has been well maintained throughout the years and upgraded to be a self-sufficient and comfortable cruising vessel. Designed to be offshore boats - several Albergs sailed through the famed Fastnet gale without as much as a scratch, raising their sails and continuing onwards after the force 10 winds passed.

This 1968 Alberg 37’ has been upgraded within the past couple of years, featuring a rebuilt Perkins 4-108; new paint on the deck and hulls; soda blasted below the waterline with a barrier coat and top of the line antifouling; new Quantum sails; new running rigging; recently inspected and approved standing rigging; a self-sufficient electrical system that keeps the batteries topped up on wind and solar; a composting head; and sufficient water and fuel holding capacities to explore remote anchorages for extended periods of time. The 20lb aluminum propane tank powers the stove top, oven, and outside bbq pit; and the oven has the cooking power to handle anything from pizza to bread.

The interior is cozy and comfortable with varnished cherry wood and new foam and micro-suede fabric cushions. The lighting is LED throughout the entire cabin, which uses less power, doesn’t heat up the cabin, and creates a soft and romantic atmosphere.

Outfitted with new safety equipment that’s up-to-date, this boat features a swim ladder accessible from the water, an overboard rescue system, radar reflector, EPIRB, overboard search and rescue light, life jackets, and a 6 person certified life raft. With enough engine parts, spares, tools, and equipment; this boat has enough onboard to repair almost anything on the go.
