Admiral Executive 38 Catamaran, 2006

After 3.5 years, 12,000 nautical miles and 29 countries we are selling our Admiral Executive 38. Having cruised Florida, the US East Coast, the Bahamas, the Eastern and Western Caribbean the time has come for us to return to our home on land. Our Admiral has proven to be a safe, reliable and comfortable vessel in keeping with Admiral's renowned reputation.

This Admiral Executive 38 is the polished Owner’s version. Her 23' beam and open design makes for a very spacious 38' catamaran. The starboard hull is dedicated to the owners with a forward head including a Jabsco electric macerating toilet, shower, full sized sink and full length mirror. There is loads of storage midships and a queen size berth in the aft cabin with locker, drawers, shelving and hanging closet. The guest accommodations are in the port hull with a double berth fwd, head midships with a Jabsco electric macerating toilet, shower and full size sink and queen size berth in the aft cabin. Guests have plenty of storage including a hanging locker, shelved locker and drawers. All closet doors have Beechwood open lattice facing for improved air circulation. There is 6’1” headroom in the cabins and 6’4” in the saloon. Two CruiseAir units keep the interior cool throughout. 14 Lewmar port lights with trim and screens and 4 Lewmar hatches with trim, Lewmar Roller Screens and Sunscreens keep the fresh air flowing. 4 large viewing windows are protected by exterior sunscreens to help keep the daytime heat out.

Sails and rigging include a fully battened Quantum mainsail with a Harken battcar system, 3 reefing points, a Quantum sailbag and lazyjacks, Quantum furling genoa with Harken furler, Quantum asymmetrical spinnaker with dowsing sock, spinnaker bridal and blocks. 3 of Harken 44.2 ST winches, a Harken traveller fitted on the targa wing with control from the helm station and the mainsheet is led to a winch at helm station. Spar Craft anodized aluminum mast fitted with 2 Harken 32.2 ST winches, tri light, steaming light and deck light. Spar Craft anodized aluminum boom with reefing jammers and a Spar Craft aluminum boom vang. 3 locking winch handles are included. Deck hardware includes 8 large cleats and 2 dinghy tiedown cleats.

This Admiral Executive has been meticulously maintained and thoughtfully upgraded. Regular maintenance and annual haulouts have provided us with a very dependable vessel. A detailed maintenance document is available upon request and spares for several systems are included. Upgrades since 2014 include:
490 W of Kyocera solar panels, 2014
Kohler 6KW diesel gen set, 2015

Hi Ascarswell,

We are currently in Grand Cayman. We will be here until at least mid next week and then we jump over to Cuba. We plan to be in Cuba for a couple months before returning to Florida. We have decent internet here so if you are interested in seeing more photos or info just let us know. Once we are in Cuba our internet access will be limited.

Cheers!
Dave

Thanks Dave. We've just listed our home for sale here in Fort Lauderdale and will be looking for a full-time cruising boat soon. Let's keep in touch.

Re: Admiral Executive 38 Catamaran, 2006

Hi aquaslav,
CF only give you so much space to advertise so engine info didn't make it into the original post. Here is some info about the engines:
Engine Brand: Yanmar
Engine Model: 3YM30
Horsepower: 29HP
Year Built: 2006
Fuel Type: Diesel
Engine Hours: 2800 hrs
Propeller: Flex-O-Fold Two Blade Folding propeller
Drive Type: Yanmar SD-20 Sail drive
Morse Drive Controls
Control Panel: Yanmar Type B

I do engine oil changes every 150 hrs and Saildrive oil changes once a year at haulout. Spares include an alternator, water pump">raw water pump and rebuild parts, fresh water pump, a set of injectors, strainers, filters and belts. The SD20 is a desirable Saildrive because they don't use cone clutches. The propeller shaft seals were replaced in Nov 2017. There is a pic of the Port engine in the post and I would post a pic of the SB engine but this reply won't let me attach it? I'll try posting it separately.
Regards,
Dave
