We are selling our 50 foot Alexander Simonis designed catamaran, in Richard's Bay, South Africa. Three of these yachts were built by Two Oceans Marine in Cape Town, and named 'Open Ocean 500'. She is fully kitted, needs very little and will satisfy most sailors. She has 4 en-suite cabins, large entertainment and saloon space, and has sailed extensively. She is very like a Voyage 50.

I just found this via Yacht World. What is the draft of the boat? Do you have a cabin layout diagram? I can't seem to find this info online.....

also, can the buyer keep the dock you are on in Ft Lauderdale for the winter? (rough monthly costs?

Also, is the boat and generator wired for 220/50 or 110/60? Is the AirCon AC or DC? I'm going to assume the mast is over 65'. Where is the Gen mounted (it's not in the photos or video)? Freshwater or saltwater heads? (none of these Q's are in the listing, as far as i can tell)

Hugo at Hanham-Gross Insurance, Charleston. (he's also a sailor)...he gave me a rough quote of $4k insurance (assuming out of the hurricane zone in summer) based on price, shipyard & age of vessel. That's w out seeing a survey or my sailing CV (which should give me a better rate)
