This George Sutton 44 was professionally built in St. Augustine Florida, and is in excellent condition. This hull is conservatively designed, well built, and stout - a perfect project for someone wanting to build a go anywhere most anytime type of vessel.

The hull is in excellent condition, shows no scale, and coatings are in good condition.

Keel: 1/4" Steel Plate
Keel Shoe: 1/2" Steel Plate
Framing: 5/16" x 3" Steel (40" centers)
Stem: 1-1/2" Schedule 80 Sealed Pipe
Deck: 10 Gauge Steel Plate
Ballast: 10,000 lbs in lead bricks

The entire boat was professionally sandblasted to SA 2 and coated inside and out with 5 coats of Devoe 235 Bar-Rust epoxy to protect the steel.
