This is what $5000 buys of a Bruce Roberts line.. Not a finished boat !!!!

That said..
I'm looking for a 40-55 ft steel hull - stalled project.
Why ?? Because it is much easier to "verify" a steel kit boat than any other which includes "corporation" built production boats.
Plus, I have ideas in layout and in design not available.

NB. A local 55' molded fibreglass hull was cut-up recently. Because you could see daylight through it... Somebody was preparing to build it.

George Sutton was recognized as one of the best boat builders/designers on the East Coast of the United States. $5000 for this hull is an absolute steal. Mr. Sutton has no relationship with Bruce Roberts designs. There is also nothing wrong with Roberts designs. The boats are fine if well built.
