Re: 43'-53' Cruising Sailboat

It is, but there is a big difference between a Taswell 43 and a Beneteau 43, both in price and displacement...and it’s my range afterall, right?

I have yet to find a trustworthy broker, and will continue the hunt on my own through fellow sailors.

Re: 43'-53' Cruising Sailboat

Hi Froggy Seas,
I have a 1987 Beneteau Idylle 15.5 (51 ft) that I am starting a refit on.
It is a bit of a project at the moment, but available now for $29,000. Boat is located in the Bahamas. PM if you are interested.

I'm still hunting for a 45'-50' Cruiser, so trying to keep this thread alive if anyone new has decided to sell.
Thanks so much.

Our 45' has new sails, new slow-turning efficient engine, powerful windlass and 400' HT chain rode, cold plate freezer, 540 watts of solar panels, Monitor windvane on quick-release brackets, dingy davits for when you're not crossing oceans, 60' tall cutter rig that sails well upwind. New fiberglass deck with non-skid. New fuel tanks. Lots of other stuff like a 3k watt inverter and raw water wash-down system. This is the Formosa model that is 15" longer than the Kelley-Peterson 44. It's cockpit is 15" larger and it's waterline is 15" longer. Not listed yet. $100k.
