Marina Alimos in Athen is a good place to look for boats not put online but for sale. Especially now after it was privatized and berth prices quadrupled. Just stroll through the habour and if you like it ask if for sale, 2 friends found their boats there and they were a catch in today's dry market

CaptainRivet, Athens has been on my list to visit. Greece is closed till May 15.

Anybody here know of any marina or yacht service brokers at Marina Alimos? Please DM me.

Correction: I meant 'workers', not 'brokers'.

The local workers seem to be a good resource for identifying owners that may want to sell. (And they make a bit of money through referrals too)

Currently looking around Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia.

But other locations are gladly considered for the right boat.

Hello XtaSea,

Perhaps "Gryphon" is a suitable vessel for you.
This Formosa cutter ketch matches your budget and goals, although she is a bit larger (more comfortable and more space for toys, provisions, etcetera) and located in Hawaii (if you are willing to start your journey there).

sailingdutchboy, thank you for the lead. Will pass for now. I looked at 3 Formosas and a bit concerned about the size of the project that these boats need. The location of yours also isn't ideal for my route.

Captain Chuck here. I own a 50' Yacht Fish it is called. A great sea boat. I have it in Ensenada Mexico at the Hotel & Marina. It can now go anywhere back to US no taxes. I am asking $155.00 obo. As I need to sell, I am 82 and need off the vessel. It is a really nice and up to date yacht. Fresh paint and many improvements. It is ready to go. 805-637-9748 It is in Coral Hotel and Marina, Ensenada Mexico.

No sailboat. A yacht power boat. Thanks for looking. This vessel is ready for the new season.
