2010 Leopard 38'

S/V La Bella Vita is a USVI based 2010 Leopard 38 catamaran for sale by owner. This performance driven Leopard 38 is at the heart of the Leopard line. With her generous sail plan and stepped hull design, this yacht provides excellent performance. On deck, the space is well thought out and useable; from the large transoms to the open and spacious aft, side and forward decks, getting around this yacht is easy and safe. The hardtop bimini over the cockpit provides superior protection from the elements and also offers a stable working platform.

The galley is up in the saloon. The deck layout is clear and the mainsheet traveller runs on an arch over the transom giving unimpeded access to the water via a wide aft bathing platform. The transom arch also serves to support the aft end of the bimini and to carry the dinghy. A large overhang shades the forward saloon windows while providing an easy and secure step to the saloon roof.

Nimble, swift and responsive accurately describe the Leopard 38. This is a classic design and a benchmark for the next generation of cruising cats. Central winch pod, large transom, stepped hulls and great sailing performance are key words in describing this model. The Leopard 38 is identical to the Leopard 39 except the cockpit hardtop is higher for added headroom and forward ventilation of the cockpit.

$175,000 Reduced, Motivated so taking all reasonable offers for a quick sale. Will possibly deliver with sale.

Very nice vessel, Exactly what we are looking for in our budget. If only we could fast forward 6-8 months for me to get in position/transition to purchase. pretty sure you will no trouble selling! (BTW i'm pretty sure I saw this vessel on the West end of the mooring/ anchorage in CA a few weeks ago.)

You mean a look alike? We are in BVI right now heading for USVI Friday. I wish we could find someone with the passion you have for Bella. It is a great boat and we love her. Just not old enough to retire so we have to work. Getting a bigger boat to charter. Wish we could help you. Hang in there, you will find the perfect boat for you!

Re: 2010 Leopard 38'

If the engines are good and have high hours they will be good. If the engines are bad and have low hours they will be bad. if it's been a live aboard for any length of time chances are it will be good, chartered or not.
Just my thoughts.

Re: 2010 Leopard 38'

I just back from 9 days of boat searching from NC to Key West with no luck. You seem to have what I been looking for but it would have to be a great deal to get me to make the trip again so soon.
