The Ebasto 20000 BTU 9.8 kW CPAC 20D REVERSE CYCLE can cool or heat all births and Saloon. The water heater is easily accessible in the storage cabinet located on the starboard head. Opposite hull stores the Schenker Smart 30 liter per hour water maker. Shore power is a 220v with a 110v converter. Both daggar boards are electrically operated. There is an electric anchor windless and 2 self-tailing winches; one at the helm and one at the base of the mast.

Re: 2006 Schionning 50' Waterline 1480 Catamaran

Inside info on this boat - port bow was wrecked enroute to hawaii from Australia. The fuel tank has internal cracks and leaks if filled past 1/2. Since it’s a built-in fuel tank, the whole front deck would have to be torn out to repair it. Most of the galley equipment doesn’t work 100% and you’d need to replace pretty much everything. Water maker is broken. Dive compressor is corroded and use at your own risk. Sails are rotten/torn and need replaced. Port hull has leaks. Main salon has leaks and teak is damaged because of it. Owner never finished buying out partner and is going to be another court case. Most or the audio and video equipment is rusted/corroded and not taken care of. You might think it looks pretty but be warned, it’s going to cost you as much in rework as it’s worth. Both owners/past owners are just trying to unload their trash on the unsuspecting buyers. She conned a buyer out of tens of thousands already, which is what the current court case is about.

This is the owner of Talisker!
This writer is another con artist trying to create trouble! Probably the same disgruntled person trying to steal it!
Two sides to every story!!!

Look people, all your facts are wrong!
That just shows you that con men out there are ****ing with people and the truth will prevail! Talisker is solid and will sell for a fair honest price. The grapevine is wrong again! Trouble makers haven’t stopped but the law is on my side. It’s just a matter fact of time. Talk to the source instead of the liars!

The next person to quote the vessels description should be taken to court. [emoji51]

Ok, will ask the source. What's your version of the lawsuit referenced here? https://www.courtlistener.com/recap/...5573.1.0_2.pdf

Re: 2006 Schionning 50' Waterline 1480 Catamaran

just stating the facts from the dozen or so people I've spoken to about this boat when I did my due diligence looking for a sailing catamaran. I guess myself, along with every single one of them were cons. I've taken my dinghy past this vessel myself. even the standing rigging has strands of cable that are broken/corroded. that alone is 15-20k in stainless, including pulling the mast to do it right. anyway, buyer be warned. happy sailing and aloha to everyone else!

Noticed I got no reply when I asked Joe USA for his side of the lawsuit.

Reading his posts on this thread reminds me of the line from Hamlet, "The lady (or in this case the gentleman) doth protest too much, methinks."

Or along with yours and many other comments on this thread, "where there's smoke, there's fire."

So Joe USA, still waiting for something other than an an angry denial.

Mr./Ms/ Joe USA .... evidence is in the facts. Kindly provide time/date stamped photos of the areas in question... fairly straight forward process for you "the source" as you quoted yourself being... and as its been over a year can you update how its going since you quoted "the law is on my side".

You can actually provide a quite helpful service to the forum to avoid getting into a similar circumstance that you find yourself with contested litigation...

Stay healthy

Re: 2006 Schionning 50' Waterline 1480 Catamaran

new info: evidently, this vessel is about to get a whole lot more complicated. the current "self declared" owner (aka joeusa) defrauded their partner in a buy out and never paid the remaining sum. i heard from friends here local to the island that he is about to file suit for the return of his share of the vessel, which will put a whole new spin on the current litigation, and add credibility to the guy that wanted to buy it, that he was defrauded too. I'd recommend staying very far away from this vessel. it will make the current legal case a win-win for the guy stuck in Arkansas or wherever he was.
