Seriously though it seems like you're looking at this from the perspective of what it costs to live at a marina. Ya, going smaller will save you slip
fees and to an extent all the other big
maintenance items.
But didn't you just complete all those big ticket items on your
current boat?
Going smaller does not save you a whole lot of
money when living on
anchor. In fact it can be quite the opposite as some others have pointed out.
I don't understand your logic but to each their own. There is a
boat out there that is right for everyone I suppose.
