Re: 1985 Bluewater Gulfstar 50 Sailmaster Cutter - $79,000

The world is changing at a very rapid rate. Peoples plans are changing. If you are still looking at buying this boat, please contact me.

We are looking at going up next week to show it. And if everyone’s plans are changing, we’re just going to take it our self and go spend the summer on it.

Tricky stuff.

Please let me know your interest level and if you would like to see it in person Sometime in the next couple weeks.

Thanks!

Chotu- that is an amazing boat and deal. I am set but yeesh you are letting it go at a great price point- a great idea for quick sale. Hopefully the tire kickers stay away

Re: 1985 Bluewater Gulfstar 50 Sailmaster Cutter - $79,000

Had 16-18 different people express interest.

All are either under quarantine now or waiting to see how things play out. Sh^t luck on my timing even with rock bottom price.

OWNER FINANCING NOW AVAILABLE

Will require tracking device, evidence of where the boat is from time to time and default means repo with no refund.

But this is a huge opportunity now for someone.

I would think this is a perfect “escape pod” and someone should buy this sight unseen pending inspection. But yes being in NY/NJ area doesn’t help.

As mentioned, location and travel somewhat difficult at this time.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. I guess life has given us one more summer with this boat. Can't say I'm disappointed.

Really nice boat, a little old for insurance co. but they still will. I sold mine a 1982 42ft Catalina I got 1/3 of my asking price but sold it in 2weeks saved me a lot of money in the long run, and could buy my next without worries. (its a boat not an investment.) Take what you can and move on, life is short.

That IS what I can get for it and already low. Did you miss all the posts saying it was a good price or are you just trolling?

I had a sale pending and 16-18 people looking. What big ticket items are you buying while under quarantine?

Yes, I read all the posts and I'm not denying it a great boat at a great price, and good to insure and that your trying to sell it to someone who knows little about boats, and less about sailing. All I was trying to say is when you get a cash offer take it. And about buying a big ticket item all ready have all I need, and during these trying times the only thing that I can contribute is blood and have done that, but I do that whenever I'm back in town. Sorry to have upset you. It should sell pretty quick when things calm down. But yes it will be tough right now.

Ok. I took it as disparaging remarks toward the boat and price. Misunderstanding.

So yes. I'm going through with a sale when things return to normal. No greed here. Not going to try to get more money. Whoever comes up with a deal first gets the boat.

It won't be during quarantine I'm sure.

Ah. You got me on that one!

I had it all figured out from using trigonometry, committed it to memory and poof!!

It's gone now that I've been away for a while at the catamaran.

I remember it is ICW compliant for most of the trip with 2-3 bridges that require outside routes.

Wow that is the first Sailboat that has caught my eye. I'm a power boat guy but that is a great looking boat.. even my wife likes it. Being out here on the left west coast would be a great Puget Sound sailor. Ahh well best of luck with your sale!
