Re: 1983 Morgan OI 416 - An Ideal Cruiser - $55,000
Thanks so much! One thing I can say is that I've met some wonderful fellow salts in Florida who, I'm sure, would run the engine when needed and I have no doubt you could too. Thanks again for the nice words on the boat and price, I think so too

Hey Al!
She had a separate icebox but was a power hog. So we updated the entire refrigeration system and now have a 12 volt Adler Barber, which has a freezer compartment inside the main fridge (which is big on this model of Morgan). We were so happy with it because with less power it held a real good amount of food frozen and kept the rest of the fridge as cold as you'd like (cold beer after a long sail is the only way to go .

Re: 1983 Morgan OI 416 - An Ideal Cruiser - $55,000
Well just curious how much one charges to look after boats like this.... ive always wanted a morgan oi ....i currently have a macgregor 26x only because i can trailer it to the keys but obviously space is limited with a small trailer sailer.... if i did purchase a bigger boat id prob keep it at indian or green cove on the hard and only use it for 2 months during the summer for the next 6 years or so. Thats always been my reservation... buy a boat and it fall apart because i left it abandoned for so long rendering it useless for when i do retire or planning a quick trip to the abacos during summer just to realize rats chewed holes through all my electrical wiring during that 9 month period of non use and none of the electrical components working after having planned a summer trip all winter long

Hey Guy1954!
She is in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Please PM me to set up a showing.
And no she does not have davits. I've thought long and hard about them because they're great for so many reasons but we just loved having the stern free for swimming and all that (and it's easy to pull her up on the hip if you want her out of the water or move the dinghy to the foredeck with the spinnaker halyard for crossings).
Thanks!

Re: 1983 Morgan OI 416 - An Ideal Cruiser - $55,000
**Price Reduced: $44,900***
Hey guys, we just reduced the price of Sea Otter because we're looking to buy a house and become full-on landlubbers (at least for the next few years until the kids are old enough to pull some sheets
So we've priced her at $44,900 in order to sell her quick. Let me know if you have any interest. Great boat, great price.
Cheers, Dane
