I found the listing. For how much you have to discount on the boat in St M, do yourself a favor, spend the money on a delivery captain to get it to FL or Annapolis for the spring buying season- I bet you’ll recoup your costs +++
If I were in the market….

Even if I deliver my sailboat to Florida I would need to turn around and come back to the Caribbean basically abandoning the boat until it sells. What if there is a storm headed to Florida?
So not that easy to just deliver to U.S.
I have been working on the boat here and gotten a lot done, almost finished with the exterior work. Put in another 2 hundred hours worth of work in the last 6 months, getting closer to the boat being 100%. I think I'll wait it out and see what happens, someone will see what a great deal my boat is and they can get on a plane and come here and buy it and sail it back to U.S. if they want.
No matter what I do the price is going up the more work I complete.
I can wait.
I did a search on Yacht World for boats 42' - 45' under $100k and there is nothing out there in North America with the extensive amount of new equipment that my boat has on it. Not even close. I can't even find a nice boat for sale with A/C, generator, water maker, under $100k. Never mind a complete high quality refit that cost over $100k.

HINT! Yachworld to many equals "Broker"...hint 2. Broker not waned by many buyers.

Re: 1982 Cheoy Lee 44' total refit
The seller pays the broker so it makes no difference to the price the buyer pays.
So the previous post makes no sense.

Re: 1982 Cheoy Lee 44' total refit
The boat is now 99% done. All that remains is bottom paint $2k, new canvas $3k, and to replace the transmission $2,500. I will offer the first buyer to step up and purchase the boat a deal where I will pay for the last remaining 3 items listed above. All off this work can be done by the yard where it is stored and a local canvas shop has the sunbrella in stock. The work would take about 2 weeks.
This brings the price down to around $50,000 which is an incredible price for a boat of this caliber with this much equipment.
Crazy good deal for someone who wants a Robert Perry designed world cruising boat.
