Re: 1971 Allied Luders 33

The Person identifying that a boat was for sale has a Shannon 38 listed on the left side of the page and I had not seen your identifier so was not sure who really had the boat for sale and when. Seems to have been listed then not then again. Got really confusing. Assume you're the owner of Hull 23 called Water Witch?

You got it, Water Witch was Dirk's boat. I purchased it in upstate NY, now restored and renamed Tatia II.

Thanks - got that one cleared up. Have been trying to figure out what Luders 33s are still around and has been a challenge. Some are interested in buying and some in selling though condition is sometimes the challenge. I was very lucky with mine and race/cruise it too.

I lost contact with the L33 association when I switched my email, not sure if it still active, but it had lots of good information there.

Re: 1971 Allied Luders 33

It definitely is and same website - luders33.com and I got rid of the dues . They're great boats and faster than one might think. the longest owner of mine (1976-2010) sailed it across the Atlantic - to the Caribbean for a bit and around Newfoundland 2 times I know of and other adventures. The article is on the 33 site and on mine. Hope to get he and his wife out sailing this summer, but they were on CROW last year on the mooring before a race so got to see some of my projects.
