One of the most sea kindly boats to set sail, this
Crealock (Creala) 40 pilothouse is a real sailors pilothouse. At 42’ overall with a 12’6” beam, Trust motors at 7 knots in calm seas despite her 50hp
Yanmar and 15tons of overall weight.
So many upgrades and
refit items including much of the running
rigging, standing
rigging,
teak and bright
work, etc etc etc. I can run you through the maybe 2000 hours of
work that went into her in the last 3 years.
A perfect inside
passage boat, an even better tradewinds sailor. Dialed for double handed sailing, or expandable to 5 in a pinch with two full berths. This is a cheaper version of a Seacraft that is better in nearly every way. Ask my why!

Crealock 40 Pilothouse
At first glance, the Creala Pilothouse 40 might appear to be simply a reproduction
Pacific Seacraft 40, but in reality it is so much more.
Despite having a limited number of hulls produced by this manufacturer, Creala immediately set their reputation as a “no holds barred” yacht manufacturer; and as you walk through, this
boat its qualities emerge from every angle. Penned by the imitable WIB Crealock, this yacht possesses the spirit of a true
blue water cruiser.
From the moment you step aboard, the shiply qualities emerge and take hold of you. High bulwarks, stunning restored
teak decks, and myriad thoughtful on-deck details bring you to two solid teak
companionway doors. Below
deck, a somehow open feeling yet intimate pilothouse space gives way to two private berths and ample
head, increasing the feeling that you are aboard no mere sailboat.
Underway, she is seakindly and stout, with no creaking or slapping, emphasizing the poised spirit of this incredible vessel. Under
power she motors deftly and under sail, she is stiff and fast, with minimal heeling as she reaches
hull speed.
Creala Yachts may not have the pedigree of other Crealock designs, but Trust is perhaps one of the finest examples of a
blue water cruiser ever to have sailed.
