I presume you mean the successor - the 3YM30 , into the new cat ? more efficient than the GM ???

Is there any provision to deploy a secondary anchor?

The 38 seems to have the same system as the 46. If you look to port of the forestay you will see a secondary bow roller on the front cross beam. there are two cleats on the crossbeam, personally I would not anchor from them as I would be surprised if they would be strong enough to take the pull from the front. I would use a rope bridle attached to the two outside cleats on the hull at the bow.

If you look on the website pics it looks like it has a drawer fridge and Freezer. Has anybody tried them, any comments as I am looking for something similar on my cat, given the space where I want to fit the freezer

I enjoy hearing everyone's thoughts on this boat. I currently have a monohull in charter with the Moorings, but am interested in this boat as a next step with them. It looks like it would fit my short term and long term needs well.

The windows on the new 38 from a design aspect present an image of wind capture. Wonder what the effect will be when the wind is anywhere within 45 degrees of 'right on the nose'.

I'd worry about a wave crashing STRAIGHT into the window cavity. IMO it looks ugly - sorry. I initially liked the design of the Lagoon windows but after seeing them more and more, I like the raked look of FP.

The back of the helm seat doesn't look like it would be uncomfortable to me. I'm glad it's a wide 2 person design.

I hate these vertical windows with eyebrows. The french are slowly getting away from them. And vertical Prows.
But what a wind trap, or air brake. Close hauled apparent wind is going to destroy what performance is available. The Flat Back and elevated helm just add to the non-aerodynamic styling of fifties american sedans. Great if you want a Sedan. But where does the guzzler go?
