Looking at the Leopard 43pc and the 51pc. Any views on their build quality and their offshore capabilities.

We used to own a leopard 44 sailing cat and recently bought a 51PC. Delivery in Dec but we’ve had experience with it before we bought. The build quality of the Leopard is great and in my opinion better than the other “big three “ brands. The 51 has a great ride and great offshore capabilities. Don’t have much experience with the 43 .

FWIW: I have a family member who owns a Yanmar dealership in one of the islands in the Caribbean. I was down there a few weeks ago and he was complaining about the lack of quality in the engine mounting and shaft alignment in one the new Leopard PC's that he had to repair.
If you are contemplating buying a new boat I would strongly recommend a complete survey prior to purchase just as if you were buying used. And not only a Leopard but ANY new boat.
