Re: Leopard powercat 51

At 3 foot of draft, they must still be using the tunnel hulls.

Re: Leopard powercat 51

Here are a few more Leopard 51 PC renderings that are not on the Leopard web site yet. She does have the tunnel hulls for shallow 3 foot draft.

Re: Leopard powercat 51

I guess using only 1 engine with the John Deere engines you're looking at a cruising range of 1600 nm ( speed : 8 knots with a 10% reserve )

We used only one cummins 150 hp engine at 2000 rpm going 7.5 to 9.5 knots depending on sea conditions when we charted a Leopard 47 PC in the BVI.

She tracked straight as an arrow on autopilot.

Re: Leopard 51 PC Powercat

Thanks
in the Loading of Boats Photo Bottom left it appears to be a Guy standing at a pod ?. The helm on the 51 I was on was on the Port side, not the Starboard side Also the hull did not have the two vertical windows amidship.

Unless the guy was running the crane from that Pod and its portable.

Okay Duh After close examination that one boat is the 58 Sail as the hardtop has the smoked sail viewing windows in the hardtop along with the rudders are Sail rudders once she is loaded.

The Leopard 58 sailing cat has a stb. helm and the two vertical windows.
You are just seeing it without the mast in place.

The masts are laying on the ship deck
