Search the LeopardCat Owners Group on Yahoo LeopardCat : Leopard Catamaran Owners Group and you'll find examples of davit mods. I simply made the davit arm stationary on my L42 by installing diagonal braces (photo on LOG), and am quite satisfied. Others moved the hinges to the aft edge of the swim platform before doing something similar.
