Very useful Colemj, thanks. I had suspected as much on the engine location on the Lagoon 380 - I think is seems vulnerable too, say when reversing into Mediterranean berth.

Now if you would just kindly go a test sail the Broadblue 385, please...............

Thanks for all the first hand information. We are off to do a sea trial on the Manta this week. We are planning to liveaboard and appreciate your views of gally space, guest space and owners space. I agree with you that most likely the guests will be occasional, therefor the emphasis should be on owner comfort.
This board has been great. What a wealth of knowledge!
