Anybody Replace Helm Seat?

We have a Leopard 42 with the stock, factory helm seat. It is wide enough, it will seat both my wife and I. However, it is short. My rear sits on the seat and the front edge hits under my legs just forward of my rear end. After 8, 10 hours or overnight passage my legs, rear end and back are all suffering.

Has anyone replaced the seat with a more traditional captain's chair or larger bench? Pics please!

I feel the base/support hardware is quite robust and there should be a way to mount a new seat with minimal alteration, if I could find the right seat.

Maybe someone here can keep me from reinventing the wheel.

Thanks all..
