Forget being blindly targeted with no lights at 2am by their "vedettas"
I enter Marina di Riposto for
fuel, 8pm
A Private gas station, though any
dock in
Italy belongs to State....
In 2hrs two guards ask me to leave that place, because the
dock is for fishermen/commercial use only..... my crew is out... I wait, and drop
anchor outside harbour at 2am
I am visually controlled all the time (ridicule!)
The day after, at midday, I am asked to leave that place too, as too close to entrance/shore. (The only one with adequate
depth...)
Please note that local
boats spread all around the bay/entrance for
fishing, and are allowed
Not a hunting behaviour (no fines... though menaced), but totally unwelcome.
Why am I forced to get to marina for
fuel? (80eur for 1day stay)
Why there is no transit space, in a dock half a mile long, occupied 10% maximum?
Riposto outlets will not benefit from my spending capacity.
This is after the main concern of coast guard, working to the advantage of the Marina only, imo.
